TEAM
The TEAM includes researchers from the University of Milano-Bicocca (Milan, Italy) and the National Research Council - Marine Science Institute (CNR-ISMAR) of both Bologna and Napoli units.
The University of Milano-Bicocca has a strong tradition of study of Mediterranean marine bioconstructions, in particular along the shelves, where crustose coralline algae forms both hard (coralligenous) and mobile (rhodoliths) substrates. CNR-ISMAR has a robust expertise in marine habitat exploration and mapping, together with a deep knowledge on the geological and sedimentological history of the Cilento Peninsula.
